For years, fans thought Smallville’s Jimmy Olsen and X-Men’s Iceman were played by the same man. In reality, they’re identical twins Aaron and Shawn Ashmore.
The brothers began acting as children, and because they looked so alike, some casting decisions were reportedly settled with a coin toss.
Shawn became famous as Iceman in X-Men and later starred in The Rookie, while Aaron appeared in Smallville, Warehouse 13, and Ginny & Georgia.
