Flying alone with my five-week-old baby, Noah, and my ten-year-old daughter, Lily, was already stressful. That was why I had paid extra to make sure Lily and I could sit together.<\/p>\n
But when we reached our row, a woman was sitting comfortably in Lily\u2019s window seat, with her coat and handbag spread across mine.<\/p>\n
I politely explained that we had reserved those seats. She barely looked up.<\/p>\n

She immediately checked her handbag and pockets. Her wallet was gone.<\/p>\n
Moments later, a flight attendant approached carrying it. Another passenger had found it on the floor and turned it in.<\/p>\n
The woman\u2019s face turned bright red.<\/p>\n
For the first time since we boarded, she had nothing to say.<\/p>\n
